ChatGPTeach: Applying GenAI in the Language Classroom

Language teachers today balance heavy workloads while striving to create engaging lessons and materials. This session is designed to support them with practical strategies for using ChatGPT as a teaching assistant. The focus will be on prompt engineering techniques that empower teachers to generate lesson ideas, activities, and classroom resources more efficiently. Participants will also practice ways to guide the tool with instructional context, evaluate outputs critically, and adapt materials to their learners’ needs. A live demonstration will provide clear, practical strategies teachers can take back to their classrooms immediately.
