
Nafiseh Zamani
Board Member
Driven by a passion for fostering inclusive communities, Nafiseh Zamani is the Language Program Manager at the Saskatchewan Intercultural Association (SIA). Originally from Iran, she moved to Saskatoon, Canada over 20 years ago. Nafiseh holds a master’s degree in English Translation, a Bachelor of Arts from Canada, and a CERTESL diploma from the University of Saskatchewan.
With over 15 years of dedicated service at SIA, Nafiseh has coordinated and managed a variety of impactful programs, including Youth, Saskatoon Multilingual Schools, Performing Arts, and English Language initiatives. Her leadership has led to the SIA growth and the significant enrollment increases and the successful integration of countless newcomers. Her personal immigration experience enriches her work, enabling her to empower others and foster a more inclusive community.
Currently, she is an active member of the SAISIA Language Working Group, where she leverages her extensive experience to enhance collaboration and partnerships within the Saskatchewan Settlement sectors. Nafiseh remains dedicated to creating a cohesive and supportive environment for newcomers, continually advancing her mission to promote inclusivity and community growth.
