I am an immigrant from Philippines and arrived here in Canada last 2015. I am a father of 3 children, 2 of them were born in the Philippines and the last one of was born here in Canada. I am currently working as Settlement Advisor for The Humboldt Regional Newcomer Centre since 2018.
I am a graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, and got Master’s Degree Program (Major in Animal Science, Minor in Extension Education). I worked for almost 10 years in the University as Professor. While I was performing my main function as a professor, I was also designated as College Extension/Outreach Coordinator. As a Coordinator, I had significant experiences on how to deal with people in the community and working with them directly in a holistic approach.
