Ali is currently the CEO of Saskatoon Open Door Society, a role he has been in since 2015. A community leader & refugee advocate, Ali’s personal experience as a former refugee along with his education & work experience serve him well in the various roles he plays in the community.
Ali is passionate about social justice, promoting equity and inclusion while addressing inequity through engagement in courageous conversations, collective action & support for social justice movements.
