English language learners with sight loss are a growing population that, traditionally, have been underserved in our language programs. The Sight Loss Integration Teacher Toolkit is designed to fill the gap in knowledge and capacity by offering direction on how to modify curriculum, materials, and physical spaces. This session will give a brief overview of the issues and challenges facing students with sight loss and then explore the various sections of the Sight Loss Integration Teacher Toolkit, with demonstrations on how to use various in person tools and apps to support students with different levels of sight loss in your class.
