
Janvi Tuteja
Rural Coordinator
Janvi Tuteja is an experienced counsellor, coordinator and collaborative professional with a strong background in mental health, community engagement, and justice. Passionate and purpose-driven, she is known for creativity, innovation, and commitment to delivering exceptional services.
Born and raised in India, Janvi has always been passionate about social reform and community development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan, minor in Criminology, along with a diploma in Human Resources and multiple professional certifications in mental health.
Janvi has worked extensively with at-risk youth and adults, the newcomer population, Indigenous communities, business, and non-profit organizations. She has experience with the Ministry of Justice and has contributed to several national and regional projects, including recent research on the impact of COVID-19 in rural areas across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba. She has led and assisted with recent international recruitment missions to India, the UAE, and the Philippines in partnership with the Government of Saskatchewan.
In addition to her advocacy and frontline work, Janvi is entrepreneur and founder of an event management business through which she supported high-profile community events such as the Annual Diversity Awards Gala.
She currently serves on several boards and advisory committees, including People’s Bridge Advocacy, CrimeStopper, the Saskatoon Appeals Board, and advisory groups focused on Newcomer-Indigenous Relations and the Prairies and Northern Territories Rural Immigration. She has also previously served on other community boards and leadership roles.
Always on the move and deeply devoted to community involvement, Janvi encourages others to get involved, make meaningful connections, and contribute to positive change in their communities.
