SIEC – Igniting Potential: Saskatchewan Youth Employment Summit

Igniting Potential: Saskatchewan Youth Employment Summit is led by the Saskatoon Industry Education Council (SIEC), with support from the Government of Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Immigration and Career Training. The summit brings together education, industry, government, and community partners to strengthen youth career pathways and employment outcomes across Saskatchewan.

Building on a morning of systems-level dialogue with Stakeholder Champions, the afternoon session expands the conversation to focus on additional stakeholders from education, businesses, and employer organizations. Through facilitated discussions, participants will:

  • Share real-world perspectives and experiences
  • Explore gaps, priorities, and opportunities across sectors
  • Help shape practical, collaborative actions to support youth workforce readiness

By bringing diverse voices into the room, the afternoon session connects big-picture thinking with on-the-ground expertise—moving ideas into action to advance youth employment across the province.
